Hon. Charles A. Abdella, ret., concentrates in the mediation of commercial and residential construction claims, personal injury, auto accidents, premise liability, property loss, business disputes and other select civil matters.
Judge Abdella served, for 11 years, as a Justice of the Massachusetts Trial Court. During his service as a trial judge he presided over hundreds of civil cases, including:
  • Business and commercial disputes
  • Commercial and residential real estate construction
  • Consumer complaints
  • Environmental violations
  • Personal injury and property loss claims
 Prior to his appointment to the court, Judge Abdella practiced law in Worcester, Massachusetts for 31 years. He provided services to clients in a variety of matters, including commercial and personal transactions, business development, and representation before administrative boards or agencies, trial courts and appellate courts. 
In addition to conducting an active practice, Judge Abdella served as a Worcester Assistant City Solicitor, Worcester County Public Administrator, Conciliator, Master and Arbitrator for the Worcester County Superior Court, and a National Panelist of the American Arbitration Association. 
Judge Abdella has served and received many honors for his service to his profession and community, including:

Chairman of the Worcester Industrial Finance Authority
Saint John’s High School, Board of Trustees and Headmaster’s counsel
College of the Holy Cross, President’s Council, Life Member and President of the Alumni Association

Judge Advocate and Special Counsel to the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts
